The Fridays have a deep affection for nostalgia. The Malaysian six-piece duo faithfully paid tribute to the iconic jangly indie pop sounds of 1990s Sarah Records artists like Another Sunny Day and Heavenly on their debut LP, “Verklempt,” released in 2015. They’ve gone further west on “No One Realises This Is Nowhere,” embracing the world of ’90s young Americana in its place.
